Airtime was founded in 1991 with the
initial concept of supplying pooled news coverage from Heathrow Airport.
A reputation for fast, accurate coverage was enhanced by a series of internationally-important stories with Airtime footage appearing regularly on
the main news programmes.
Supply contracts with the key broadcasters rapidly followed and the company became a first point of call for TV stations wanting images
of newsworthy figures on the move.
The Airtime portfolio has expanded rapidly since the early days and now
encompasses public relations, b-roll maintenance, corporate video production and archive sales.
The company is a member of the Federation of Commercial Audiovisual Libraries.
